It was incredible being able to execute new ideas during this patio installation! The main bulk of the patio consists of rippon buff honed and calibrated Indian Sandstone supplied by the one and only Sandstone Supplies UK.
A Marshalls new harena circle sits right in the middle, creating one of the many focal points of this project. Circle edging and cobble inserts have been installed using raj green Indian sandstone cobbles.
This gabion retaining wall is the first of its kind to be installed in a garden in Stafford! The cages have been filled with pennant blue gabion stones, which are mainly blue with speckles of gold dotted through.
The steps have been made using a timber frame for support, and rippon buff Indian sandstone.
The raised planters do a great job of breaking up the gabion wall, as to not make it seems so daunting. All of our planters are made using treated sleepers and high quality fixings, and are topped up with premium soil.
Coping is not commonly seen on top of gabions, however our client asked so our client got! We used a special mix to adhere the rippon buff slabs onto the gabions and then filleted the mix underneath for a structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing outcome.
